In class we have 2 3d printers for two weeks, the colors we can choose from are pink, blue and black.
On the website Tinkercad we had to design a key ring.

I chose the colour blue for my key ring and for the glasses I chose black. I think the 3D printers is like a giant hot glue gun because it's plastic and it melts.  I am enjoying the 3D printers because I have never used one before and I think they are amazing.

  1. Hey Kate my name is Mikaela from St Pius X Catholic school and I am a year 7 student in intermediate.
It’s cool to see that inside your class you have two 3D printers.
It must have been a great experience to use it and make your own design.
I know this because I too had the chance to use a 3D printer and create my design.

  3. Hello Kate,
My name is Kayci and I am from Hauraki in Te Waka Ako at Waikowhai Primary school. I really love how you have worked on using tinkercad and a 3d printer. I have experienced a 3d printer before at the Motel. I also loved how you made a Keyring using your name and planning it out onto tinkercad before using an actual 3d printer. I have a suggestion that you could possibly do next time is, that you could explain more on what you did on tinkercad and on the 3d printer. It made me think about when we were using tinkercad to create a Juniour playground because at our school the Junious playground has been taken down because the teachers thought that it was'nt safe enough. Thank you for sharing your wonderful work with me. If you would love to see my wonderful learning please visit at http://wpskaycil.blogspot.co.nz/
    SEE YOU LATER!!!!
